My love affair with the camera began in 2001 when I attended film school. There, I discovered how stories are told with moving images offered straight up, juxtaposed, superimposed, slowed and/or quickened. I was impressed with the power of cinematography to affect the viewer and their experience.

Being in film school was a big change for me. But my life changed again on the day that my instructor loaned me his still camera for a class assignment. It was a day of joyful discovery. Since then, videography and digital photography have become my twin pleasures.

It is my joy to create and share images, both moving and still, that captivate, illuminate, uncover, exhilarate, shock, titillate or images that simply reflect my varied experiences of being here on the planet.
